KoalaEdit is an early web and desktop-oriented Markdown editor built with Svelte 5, Vite, CodeMirror 6 and a sanitized unified/rehype rendering pipeline. Notes are stored locally through localforage, with a sidebar for quick switching, auto-save, light/dark themes and a split editor/preview layout.

I wanted a small, fast Markdown workspace that keeps drafts local by default and does not require accounts, sync services or a heavyweight writing suite.
