KoalaShot
A privacy-first browser extension for capturing full-page vertical screenshots and annotating them locally with an offline-first editor.
Overview
KoalaShot is an open-source, privacy-first browser extension for Chromium and Firefox that captures full vertical webpages and lets you annotate them locally. It features overlap-aware vertical stitching, smart memory limits, and a built-in offline editor with redaction, blur, shapes, and crop tools.
Backstory
Most screenshot extensions upload images to third-party servers or inject telemetry. I built KoalaShot to ensure all captures and pixel edits remain entirely on the local device without accounts or cloud tracking.
