Overview
KoalaShip is an open-source shopping and parcel-delivery simulation. It recreates the enjoyable parts of online shopping: browsing products, comparing prices, placing fictional orders, waiting for deliveries, unboxing purchases and displaying them in a personal collection. No real money, merchants or debt are involved.
Backstory
I read an article about "Dopamine sites" in South Korea (sites with fake shopping carts and fictional parcel tracking designed to release dopamine without spending money). I thought the idea was hilarious and wanted to see how hard it would be to build, while also testing Svelte as an alternative to Astro.
